Going rate for an 03 Kokopelli AS?

Hey Yetiheads. I know of someone selling the following rig:

Frame: *15" (Small) Black Yeti Kokopelli A.S. *
Fork: *Marzochi Bomber MX Comp Air/Spring (4" of travel w/lockout)
    Headset: *Cane Creek S2
Shock: *Fox Float (3.75" of travel)
Riser Bars: *Easton MonkeyLite XC Lowrise
    Stem: *Thomson Elite
    Seatpost: *Thomson Elite
    Seat: *Sella Itallia TransAm
    Seatstay QR: *Salsa
    Shifters: *Shimano Deore Mega 9
Brakes: *Hayes Comp Hydraulic Disc F&R
    Grips: *Cdale
    Computer: *Cateye
    Cranks/BB: *Shimano XT
    Front Derailleur: *Shimano XTR
    Rear Derailleur: *Shimano XT
    Rear Cassette: *Shimano XT
Wheels: *Shimano XT Hubs laced to Sunrims RhynoLites
Tires: *New Hutchinson Scorpion Tubeless (w/tubes)
    Pedals: *Shimano 959

How much is this worth, in your humble opinions? It's a nice bike, and wouldn't mind making an offer, but am seeing wildly different prices floating about (notably on mtbr's review of this bike, where folks reported paying as little as $1,000 for it new (on sale), up to $2,000+)

depends on the part spec- the $1000 bikes are pretty low on parts (i.e. nothing thompson, easton, xt/xtr, rim brakes instead of discs, etc....) I have one specced' above what you are describing, and would ask at least 1500 for it, if that gives you an idea. Mine is tubeless, xtr, turbines, maguras, Marz. Marathon SL and such....for what ist worth, my frame is for sale (med) for $650

Hmm... so how much would you value the above specced one? (He's asking $1,100, I'm thinking more $900) It is, in fairness, in good condition, apart from the expected cablewear and scratches.

That's a pretty nice build. I imagine you could get 1100 or even a bit more if you find the right buyer. I've seen people pay more for less bike on ebay.
