    Front derailleur for Yeti AS-R

    Hi guys
I am seriously contemplating the purchase of a Yeti AS-R after demoing one last week.

Can anyone provide me with the type of front derailleur that is required. (I have the catalog, that states what is required but the wording is confusing and I want to be sure)

I intend to buy the frame and transfer the parts from my trance 1 to it, but as far as I can see the seatpost and the front derailleur are the only ones I need to update.

    thanks in advance

    cheers
    James

Yeah, usually when you switch frames you need to check seatpost, front derailleur and BB width (mostly for non-outboard-bearing cranks).

According to the website here is the info on the f. Der.

    F.Derailluer: 31.8mm clamp, Traditional(High) mount, top pull

Jimmyd - I use a SRAM X Gen. High mount, top pull, (I think it is the only way it is available). Comes with a plastic shim for the down tube fit. It is a bit bulky but it is very tough. Yeti is also spec'ing out the Shimano XT FD-761
