    frame protecting your SB-95

    I'm the very happy new owner of a SB95c frame. As I dismantled my SB95 aluminum frame to make the parts switch over, I noticed some potentially significant cable rub under the front shock mounts where the rear derailleur and brake cables run.

    It may be a good idea to put some frame protection in this spot on both the carbon and aluminum versions of this great frame...

    I use these on the cables at the same locations on my SB66.


    You can use a Scalpel to slit along one seam to just pop em on without having to faff aboutremoving calipers etc to slide them down the whole length of the cables. Though I think modern ones are pre split?

    Also Copter Tape is good frame protection:

    Copter tape frame tape - anything but wheels
