    First Tribe pics-Enroute

Here I am in Colorado Springs, got in yesterday and camped out near Woodland Park. This morning rode Garden of the Gods trails, then headed to Palmer Park, both in Colorado Springs. Aweseom riding at Palmer, not as good in G.O.G. but I just needed to get acclimated. Coming from a state where the highest elevation is 1,700 feet, every movement makes me gasp for breath. But I'm getting used to it, pulled some pretty good hills at the park. Waiting for BlackJD1's flight to get in, then Friday we head to the real thing. Here's some photos, more to come.

Beautiful pics! I used to live in Colorado, and really missed those magnificent red rocks when I moved to Boise. Now in Indiana, and miss both the CO and ID mountains!

Looking forward to more of the pics! Enjoy!

    Big Jim,

Thanks for the photo's and keep'em coming. I used to live in Summit County so I know what you are going through with the altitude. Stay hydrated!!

On the other hand I just came in from a ride on New Englands infamous wet rocks and roots and I would be willing to gasp for O2 agin to be able to ride that sweet Colorado singletrack.

    Welcome Jim,

Hey...if you get a chance go ride Rampart Reservoir, just ask around it's pretty easy to find..nothing technical about it, just a nice cruise through the woods..around 15 miles I think...have fun at the gathering!!

I'm hoping to make it next year.
