    Cracked pivot

Just noticed this while I was planning on riding. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Cracked pivot-image.jpg

I have seen lots of stress cracks like that in linkage on many different bikes from bottoming out to hard , but I have not seen it on that bike .

I would bet that if you called and talked to warranty very nice you could probably get you some new pieces and get her together and really monitor the rear shock set up and make sure you minimize the bottoming .

I'd definitely try the friendly-approach method, I have a hard time understanding how harsh the ride history would have to be to cause that kind of failure before something else gave out! Nuts!

Good luck, at least it's an easy to replace part.

Ok thinks guys, so I should call Yeti, direct? I always check my rear shock pressure before I ride. I'm 170 geared up and set it at 165. I really don't ride that hard. Thanks

If you have a good LBS you may want to go through them - and Yeti may require you to do so - but calling Yeti directly is a very reasonable action.
