Big Top + 140MM Revelation= ?
So I have a new 2012 BT that I'm building up. I have this 140 Rev sitting here and I look at the two of em and think, eh why not!
Has anyone built up a BT with a 140 fork? What were your thoughts if you did?
I'm likely just going to drop the travel down to 120 and run it that way but I'm interested to see what others think about a BT with a 140 Fork.
Thanks for the input!
I'd guess that (at best) you're going to get a floppy front end and a bottom bracket that feels too high. At worst (by running a fork longer than the frame was designed for), you might get a sheered-off headtube (and the commensurate broken collarbone).

Yep 120 if perfect for that bike but I have a question...
My buddy just got a Revelation 140 but the stanchion length is ~125 and so were all the others in the showroom; a sticker on the leg says 140 so what gives; does your stanchion measure 140?
Sorry to hijack but clueless as to why.
