    ASR5 C owners. A little help

I really love this bike, but I ride a 29r Stompy carbon pro now and I'm looking for AM bike for rougher stuff. I dont know if I could convert back to a 26 after a 29.

My question to you guys is, when your out with you buds how do you climb compared to your buds on their 29r's? Right now I;m looking at a FSR C Expert 29, Pivot 429, and the ASR5-C. The ASR5-c is about 2K cheaper than the other 2.

    Thanks for you help.

I have only owned my ASR5 for a week now and still trying to work out the bugs, but my 2010 FSR Pro 26 was a more capable climber thanks to the Brain shock. As for the wheel sizes, my race bike is a 29er HT and my fun/trail bikes have been 26". The smaller wheels seem easier to launch and toss around than any of the 29er HT or FS bikes I have owned

I thought the ASR is more of a cross country bike. You may want to look at the 575 or the SB66. Huck n Roll has some killer deals on the 575's right now.
Who Did He Tell You That?

I'm looking at the ASR5. Its the trail version of the ASR which is the XC bike. The 5 has more travel.
