ASR5 Alloy geometry vs ASR5-C geometry

    Hi team

I'm considering buying an ASR5 Alloy, but would like to clarify if the geometry is the same as the carbon version, as I understand there at least used to be some differences, if not any more? On the Yeti site ASR5 Alloy page the owners manual link leads to the the carbon user manual which lists three sizes, and the Geometry section of the website for each version of the bike lists five sizes, which is a bit confusing for a start.

I'm keen to check as I'm tall (6'4") so length is something I need to get right, and having sat on a Large ASR5-C it feels right, so just need to be sure the Alloy isn't going to be shorter.

    Anyone know for sure? TIA

The geometry varies a little bit between the 5C and the 5A, mostly due to the molds we used for the 5C and the tubes we used for the 5A.

On the Large, the 5C has a 1.6" longer seat tube than the 5A. All other dimensions are exactly the same.

On the XL, the 5C has a 0.2" lower stand over than the 5A. All other dimensions are exactly the same.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks John that is really helpful. Good to know the length will be the same.
