    After a long courtship......

I started riding in 1994 and fell in love with Yeti that same year. Over the years I admired from a distance as a number of reasons always kept me from making my next ride a Yeti. The courtship is finally over!

Thank you for the kind words..... Thrilled to finally be apart of the tribe. Now the fun of building her up begins. I've waited a long time to own a Yeti and as excited as I am to ride I intend to take my time and spec out my ideal build. I will post pics as the parts roll in. First item in...... 12mm axle upgrade.

Yes, It will be my first bike with the 12 x 142 configuration and I can't wait to have a wheel laced up and ready to drop in.

Funny on the title! I was thinking the same thing today. A couple hours ago I ordered the ASR5 I've been oggling for at least a year and a half. I went alloy, although I'm wondering if I should have gone carbon....

I was torn between the carbon and aluminium also. Went with the carbon with intent on it building up light weight and plans to do some xc races from time to time. Alum or carbon I think It's win win either way.
