    575 swingarm reinstallation?

    Hello.

I removed the swingarm from my '07 575 to replace the main pivot bearings and the other suspension bearings. I am having a hell of a time getting the swing arm back onto the frame. It is a very tight fit at the junction of the main pivot/swing arm and the frame, and I can't get the swingarm spread out wide enough to mate the two pieces, and I don't want to get too aggressive so as not to damage the new bearings.

Does anyone have any tricks or tips about this facet of reassembly? The bike is not back together yet.

    Thanks very much!

There are recesses on the swing arm to allow it to be installed over the bearings (spacers).

Both my '07 and '09 have the same recesses on the swing arm.
