    575 650B conversions

Since 650b (27.5") is all the rage I see a few frames can run either 26" or 27.5" with a change of drop out adaptor, can it be done with a 575 or any other yeti?

I can tell you it cant be done with an 08 ASR and my understanding is it cant be done with 575's that have the carbon shark fin rear triangle.
Do a quick search in the 650b area and there is a post about all bikes that can/cant be converted

Would be cool to see a 69 or 67 attempt maybe, given that the rear triangle will probably not take a larger tire. ( 67 = 26 rear, 27.5 front ) wonder what it would do to the geo.

its pretty clear that the 2008-2010 rear-tri with the carbon brace will not accept a bigger tire, my 26" Mountain King 2.4s just fit ...

Maybe newer rear triangles have more room tho'

I actually have been considering running a 27.5 front with a 26 rear on my 2009 575 with the carbon rear. I think my fork will allow it.

It's barely room for 26" tires on the 575...

The ARC aluminum and first generation ASR-C can also accept 650b wheels.

yeti must have read my mind, now all I want is a 27.5" rear triangle that will fit my current front frame, and maybe an angle head set
