2016 6c (boost) rear rotor to frame clearance problem

Hi guys, I got a problem of my boost 2016 6c rear rotor to frame clearance problem. I bought a hope 180mm float rotor, after I installed I found that the rotor was very very close to the frame and it almost touch the frame. Did any one are using same rotor on 6c and is it normal?

Here is the photo, Thank you!

Are those rotors directional? I.e. Does it have outside/inside markings? If not, try flipping it around. It seems that that rotor's mounting flange is quite thick

Dish would have no effect on rotor/frame clearance. Looks like a particularly thick carrier on the rotor to me.

Good to know thanks. I figured if the hub was too far non-drive side then it'd push the rotor closer to the frame but thinking about it the distance from the mounting point on the hub doesn't move haha. Thank. :-)

Exactly, I am sure the rotor was installed correctly and I have tried another new hope float rotor, it shows no difference. I am thinking if hope float rotor is not compatible to 6c frame. It is weird. I don't have this problem on my sworks stump jumper.

I have a an 06 6c w a 180mm hope rotor and no clearance issues. What hub are you running? Perhaps the rotor mounting surface sits further outboard than on other hubs?

I am running industry nine enduro hub and i have checked the rims to frame clearance on both size, it's the same. However, I don't know the mounting surface of the hub is further outboard than other hub or not, coz I don't have other hub to fit.

So here is my boost SB6c with the i9 boost hub and shimano ice tech rotor. Looks tight but clears without problem.
Not sure what the conclusion is but I think the culprit is the hope rotor.
