    Looking at the Eurobike 12 website it doesn't show Yeti as having a exhibiter booth in their rundown.

    Yeti does not do traditional model years. So when you ask 2013, you really mean what's the next bike Yeti will introduce?

    The next bike Yeti is introducing is the ASR 29 race bike. It is just a matter of when.

    Eurobike was a bust. I guess we need to wait another 3 weeks for Interbike to see the new Yeti's.

    Their Dealer IXS is the one that runs the stand. I saw nothing "new", although I hadn't seen the SB-66s and the SB-96 in the flesh...man are they nice

    So what has anyone seen/heard on the SB-95 carbon?

    The alloy is an awesome bike but stiffer and 1 lb lighter could be THE bike. I'm just not willing to wait till mid/late next year

    Who's heard anything?

    Thanks

    @shade13 - I believe you'd be looking for a sb64 then. The first number is based on tire side and second number is travel. (i.e. sb95 - 29er, 5" / sb66 - 26, 6" / sb77 - 27.5, 7")

    Yeti C hoodie quickly became my favorite piece of clothing ever.

    Rumor is one was in a gift bag for the Pesident who is visiting tomorrow. Sadly I wonder if he will have heard of them. Say what you will about JR, the guy apparently could bike and would have known Yeti.

    The ASR-7 was a 7 inch trail bike. The SB66 is more of a freeride bike than the 7 was. I think a 7 inch freeride/DH with Switch would be unreal. Something along the lines of the TR250 or SX Trail.

    The SB isn't going anywhere. Worst case, which I give less than a 1% chance of happening, is they have to negotiate a licensing fee.

    The new model is a 29" 4" ASR unless they changed when they are releasing it. I wouldn't be surprised if the big top goes all carbon though.

    but that was a cantilever brake compatible frame only. frame shown above is disc brake. I wonder if thats a yeti employees custom built bike, or a future production bike?

    He did say ASR5 and not ASR5c and looking at his previous posts, appears to have a wicked accurate crystal ball.

    I keep telling my son when he grows into a medium he can ride my wife's 5, maybe I will need to pick up a third for the family.

    My LBS Yeti dealer was saying that the alloy AS-R 5 is no more, but carbon is sticking around. Definitely not a rumor, but reality. I'm glad I liked the 95 more anyway, because I'd be out of luck on my order this past week.
