About time to replace the bearings on my '08 575. This time I wanted to do it by myself. So I order the bearing kit through a local enduro reseller.
These guys list the bearing kit as having "1212 2RS MAX (4) | 688 2RS (2) | 688-A 2RS (2) | 6903 2RS (2)". A call to the guys, they didn't know what to say, they just sell "what enduro sends them" and that "it probably will do fine".
By the way, here is what Yeti says:
300020032 BEARING 398 RS MAX DBL ROW 19MM X 8MM X 11MM (6)
300020001 BEARING 6903 MAX (2)
Anyway, I needed the bearings so I ended up buying them. But only because they are Enduro and can be trusted.
The envelope has arrived and (surprise, surprise) it has totally the wrong bearings! Yes, the box says "Yeti 575 Bearing kit". To make things worse, there are 10 bearings in the kit while the bike only needs 8. What i'm supposed to do with the 2 leftovers? Am I paying more for nothing?
I can't call back to complain and/or get a refund until next monday so in the meantime I leave my rant here.
**EDIT: After getting in contact with Enduro themselves, they have confirmed the kit is intended for a '07 or earlier model and not for a 2008+ model. Hopefully this will be more than enough arguments for me to get an exchange.
