What kind of trainer do people use?

I'm looking @ picking up a trainer and have a messload of options. Any suggestions or recommends?? I'm looking @ spending no more than $300. I've looked at some Tacx trainers mainly the Satori and Some Elite trainers. Any help please.

I use a blackburn trackstand-I got a good deal on it but I belive it goes for about $279.99 full price. So far I've got not complaints. The first one was leaking so I took it back to my LBS and they just gave me a new one, 7 rides later and no problems

One thing to think about, you may want to go with a fluid trainer over magnetic they tend to last longer, and I know the resistance increases the faster you pedal, not sure about that in regards to magnetic

I have 2, Minoura Rollers w/Mag unit and a Blackburn Track Stand w/Mag unit. I like both when I am stuck indoors because of crappy weather, I can mix it up. The rollers are 15+ years old and going strong. The Track Stand is a nice solid unit and is much quieter than the rollers, But anyway you look at it indoor trainers are BOOOOOOORING. Get some good videos, turn up the TV, put a fan in front of yourself and kill a 1/2 to an hour.

I just picked up a CycleOps Fluid 2 trainer brand new for $239 on Ebay. There is a dealer still selling a bunch. Check it out. It is an awesome trainer. A thousand times better than my old magnetic trainers.
