Richey WCS True grips or Ergo?

I'm in the market for a new pair of grips and narrowed down to Richey WCS foam grips, can't decide between the standard True grips or the Ergo True grips. Anyone have experience with either of the two?

All my upandrunning mtbs(5) use the WCS Foam(actually neoprene, which is why they are so comfy compared to foam grips like the Pork Rinds, which I hated, by the way). My wife likes them and uses them on her bike as well. The best balance imo regarding weight(45-50ish gms), size(large octagon), and soft/hardness.

Have yet to try the Ergo version. Cambria sells both fwiw.

I don't like the ergo....The knob just really never felt right on my hand, and it makes switching hand positions problematic. I found my hands were cramped often with the ergo...

I agree. I bought the Ergo's and took them back. I am using the Richey WCS foams. They are very comfy.

if your going to look at foam also take a look at ESI grips. I used ergo and went back to esi.

    pass on the ergo.

    I just took mine off!
They were uncomfortable for my hands.
I've tried the true grips and had no such problems.

I have the WCS Ergo grips on my Racer-X and for the first week I didn't think they were that comfortable. But now that they are wore in a little bit I find them pretty comfortable.

Another vote for ESI. They are awesome. I found the thin racing verion slightly small in diameter, but I love the standard diameter.

Another vote here for ESI and I went with the ESI Chunky. Very comfy and still great when wet.
