    Recovery Question

    Training for a solo 24 hr race in June. Did back to back days on the weekend: first day(Sat.) was a 100km tempo (muscular endurance) pace for the most part, day two (Sun.) was 100km endurance pace - slower than Saturday.

    Took Monday off. Biked to work this morning, coming home was beat and didn't go out and ride tonight. Not a big deal. Tomorrow is intervals (hill repeats).

    Just wondering, how many days others take off after two back to back long days?

    depends on how I feel but I'd probably skip the intervals this week unless you feel like superman. I usually do 1 full day off, then 1 day active recovery, then get back to normal
