    Powertap SL+ on a 142x12 frame?

Will be getting a new frame soon and want to see whether my powertap hub will work on it or not - the new frame will have a 142x12 rear end. Will I have any issues?

You'll have the issue that the Powertap hub is designed for a standard 135mm width rear dropout. It won't work with a 142x12mm thru axle rear dropout.

In order to make it work you would need someone to machine you a new axle and endcaps for the Powertap hub with the correct dimensions.

    Get in touch with Wheelbuilder.com
They are working on an adapter to make it fit, last I knew it was in pre-production and were awaiting parts from the machine shop.
