New question here. How to Find XC Races in NorCal ?

Hi all. After several years of trail riding on weekends, I did my first XC race in August 2006 (Howell Mtn challenge in Angwin CA) and had a blast. Beginner class of course. I am now hoping to do some races in 2007. Was wondering where to look to find listings of races in my area. I assume there must be some websites ? Any help would be appreciated.

Depending how far north you are in "NorCal", there are a few races in southern Oregon too (Ashland, GrantsPass, etc).

    Check out the NORBA site...

You might want to check out NORBA also.

They maintain a race calendar that covers the whole United States. The direct link to the calendar page is

Team Bigfoot's '07 Schedule to be announced soon.

We're working on a couple of new events and should be able to announce our '07 sched by Jan. 1. We'll definitely have the Bigfoot Classic (XC, DH, Super-D, Short-Track XC), Whiskeytown (XC & possibly Short-Track), LaGrange (XC, DH, Super-D) and at least one more and possibly two more dates with XC and DH and possibly Super-D.
