    FOES xct 2:1 4"

I've read good stuff a/b this bike but am worried a/b the weight....seems a tad heavy even with the lightest gear. anyway I'm considering buying one.....does anyone that races XC and endurance know or own one of these things? Is it a racer? could it compete in a 12 hour? opinions please. I race expert XC and 12hour.

    I don't have a Foes ... but:
My overall impression is that Foes is not particularly trying to make light bikes. They do bikes that are strong and stiff. Apparently the suspension works too. That should contribute towards a bike that does not waste power on frame flex.

perttime has it pretty much dialled from what i've read, Foes would rather make a strong stiff frame, then an all out lightweight frame.
I've got the 2:1 4" on my new frame shortlist.
