Maybe the different position of the grips in relation to your hands is causing the gloves to slip in areas they didn't before. Maybe you can try a new pair of gloves before giving up on the grips. I use gloves with a little padding and it seems to help delay getting numbness on long rides.

I use the same grips and they're awesome. As someone else said, try full finger gloves. Also, make sure your weight is on the balls of your hands and not on the valley between them. And watch out for the death grip. Your hands should be nice and loose. You should be able to move your fingers freely.

I have the same grips and really like them as well. No blisters. using full finger XC gloves with minimal padding in the palms. Sounds like you are holding the grips too tight. Relax your fingers and give that a try.

    Few items to note....

When you ride with Ergon grips, you need to relax. You almost need to relearn how to hold onto the grips. One word....relax.

Also, with gloves, make sure they have little to no padding and are not too loose fitting.

I did another ride with it. and it seems to be feeling a lot better than before. I did have to adjusted again..... more horizontal . I would say like -5 degree.

    hope that helps..
