    Clydesdale or SS?

So I am 6'2'' and 203-205lbs day to day.

My local races I enter have a 200+ pound clydesdale class I am thinking about entering the next three in that class.

Reasons being.. I get smoked in the SS class and def do not consider myself a beginner anymore.

    What would you do?

You're hardly a clydesdale at 205, just an unfit SS racer. Go out, train some more and stay with the SS class.

At 6'2:" and 205lbs you're already running pretty lean, increasing your performance is just your next step.
It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required.

Go ahead and enter in the Clyde race.

Just don't train too much for it because you might end up < 200 lbs.

Yup just ride the SS in the clyde class.. I switch riding my SS in the singlespeed class, or ride it with the gearies makes it more fun, that way you're not just riding with the same guys all the time..
