    bike fit question

    I have a bike fit question. First, I have never been professionally fit on my bike, and always just went for comfort and a racey posture. My question is when im peddaling hard and at a high pace (90-100 rpms) the back of my bike is bouncing. My hips look like there pretty level and square. They don't seem to be moving. Ive tried the seat up a little, down a little, forward and back. Just cant get it just right. Im comfortable but i think im wasting energy.
    What are your thoughts????

    Full suspension bike? Sometimes that's caused by changes in chain tension as you pedal. "Pogoing."

    Does it happen on a hardtail or a road bike?

    If the back of the bike is bouncing, I'm supposing a FS. What you experiment is called "bob" and is fairly common. A lockout or platform shock is the usual remedy. Not a fit problem.
