Anyone heard of BeOne bike frames?

    Hey there guys.

Looking into getting a FS frame for myself. I am currently looking at a Nirvana 2.0 frame from BeOne bikes. Claimed weight of 2.4 kg for the frame which i find as pretty good. 2007 model with the horst link four bar setup.

    Anyone ever heard of Beone?

PS will be replacing the bar with a Radium RL shock

I considered one. They seem to be specced well with a decent price. They seem to get good reviews.

I decided against one simply because they are so rare in the US and the one I was looking at... http://www.beone-bikes.com/EN/products/nirvana.html has a complicated linkage. I just did not feel confident about it.

The one you posted looks fine with a simple design.

Rider faster, i have been talking to Beone reps, then new frame is actually a single pivot design, one of the simplest designs for a FS bike. Here is what they told me in an email

    "

The new single pivot ( twin link) frame is a better suspension system compared to the 07 system.

It’s a in house development and actually a improved version of the older BeOne Hornet frame.

Main benefit of the frame is that the setup of the shock is more easy, and less critical for the maximum performance.

Also the geometry is improved for cross country and light all mountain use.

Especially the descending skills have improved a lot.
    "

    Hope that helps you out

I just received my 2008 BeOne Nirvana 3.0 from Chain Reaction Cycles in the mail yesterday. When all was said and done I paid just about $750 for the complete bike to my door. Don't know how it will fair for long term durability. Looks like it'll last. The fame tubing and welds look top notch. Designed in the Netherlands, but like everything else it was made in Taiwan.

What I really like about it (other then the price) is that no one else has them here. Supposedly they are bigger in the non-English speaking parts of Europe. You see way too many GTs, Treks and such on the trials these days and it just kills me to pay them $1,500 for a bike with the same components as a $750 bike just because they are popular.

...We'll see if my opinion holds up after a full summer of riding the BeOne is over.

I'm thinking of getting a Nirvana 1.0 frame from CRC, anyone with experience from it?
