Whitten in tears following fourth-place finish

Sadly there isn't the general public support to offset the public pressure to medal for the competitors that have a chance of being on the podium.

    This is awesome!

I've been vegatarian my entire adult life and vegan the past 10 years. and I;ve done very well. So many different factors affect performance, and all athletes have different bodies and metabolisms.

Just watched the women's xc...not an exciting course but the outcome was victorious for Julie, Sabine and Georgia made their countries (France, Germany and USA) proud.
Canada fell short but Catharine and Emily gave it their all

I feel like I'm the only person that thought the course looked pretty cool/fun

If I had the opportunity, I would love to ride it. It looks artificial in comparison to the mountain biking / trail riding.I've done.

It's certainly designed for 29ers and hard tails (at least that's what all or most of the riders are using.)
