There are good people out there...

    A little background:

A local lady who'd lost 80# this past year, recently started back into cycling as a way to further her fitness... She'd been riding an old wallyworld bike, and was posting on a local forum for cyclists about different subjects.

I'd been typing to her some about getting some patterns for cycling apparel as she didn't have a lot of $$ and clothing can get pricey, so I sent her the link posted here a few weeks back (thanks formica!) to help her search.

Recently she'd put a new bike into layaway, nothing fancy, but much nicer than the old bike she was riding with hopes of having it paid off this fall. Anyhoo... It seems a generous anonymous soul has paid it off for her. She's got a new ride much sooner than expected!

Stuff like this just really brightens my day!

Pretty cool; that was a nice thank you she wrote, too.

I clicked on the picture link, and I don't think I've ever seen someone with such pure joy on their face. You could really tell how much it meant to her. I think that was such a beautiful gift. And godbless Mary for her genuine enthusiasm and the light in her heart.

A true demonstration of how the world could be. Thanks for the heartfelt story. I know the anonymous person is even happier than the recipiant(sp).
