Shout Out for Leg Warmers!
Just picked up a pair of leg warmers on a whim and they are great. They totally solve the shorts/tights dilemma.
Got these from Performance and the large fit just right; no slippage and forgot they were on. Since this is the Women's Lounge, i can note that the tops bedded nicely into my cellulite mid thigh and did not budge, but at the same time, did not feel at all constricting. They are on the warm side; slightly fuzzy inside, with ankle zippers.
These will work well in situations where the days starts off cold and really warms up, like today: Low of 38 degrees, warming up to 70 by mid afternoon. Will easily fold up and stuff into a jersey pocket.

I have a set of Hincapie ones and they go with everything Even when it's not riding time there's times I put them on under a long skirt or inside my trousers to warm it up. It's always a trick to find ones that don't migrate, so score

Performance's leg warmers are great -- not expensive, and after two seasons, the non-slip elastic works as well as when they were new.
Even when it is warm, I wear them doubled over my knees to protect them when I crash.
