I seem to be getting a lot of replies to my reply to squirrl girls best response when people keep asking if she is ok while riding. Some of the comments didn't seem directed to my short reply
My comment is only that in GENERAL I find mtn. bikers more friendly on the trail then roadies on the road. I feel it is because of the extra safety factor being in the trees, backcountry etc. If you are riding alone this also makes sense. I have been riding for years and this is just my experience.
EX: I was on a road ride this week and I watched a pack of 15 riders go right by a guy with a flat and not say a thing. I waited, asked and he said he was fine thanks.
If stopped on a mtn bike people always check or say hello, and I have no problem with that. Can be a great way to meet new people to ride with.
