    Head in the clouds

Foggy and cool in the southern california santa monica mountains today. Very few people out. Just a simple lap on westridge before the daylight was gone. The trails were tacky from all the moisture, really nice.

The whitish dot near the top of the trail is my helmet.

    And closer

    I like this one.

Black Bart disappears into some bushes and fog. I kept losing him in the fog, in places the visibility was only 20 feet!

Thanks for looking and happy riding!

    great pics!

I really like the one of you standing up while riding your bike and the fog in the background - you look like a strong mystery woman.

    I hate work

It was a beautiful foggy morning in Seattle. I thought: Gee, I'd love to go for a ride.

And then I went to work.

    I hate work.

    Nice pictures.
We all get it in the end.

    yummy

Every once in a while we get some fog like that up on the ridge ride here. I love it. It's like a cheap trip to Wales.

    I miss Westridge singletrack

I think I've done it twice, now. You've just reminded what I've been missing. Thanks.

West Virginia. I'm heading back this weekend to ride w/ lowcel and visit some family. I'm also planing to hit Douthat State park on the Virginia side of the WV/Va border. Heard great things about the place and I'll be going right by it.

I live in Southern Maryland, but most West Virginian's usually say they're going "home" if/when they take a trip back to WV. As the song goes.....Take me home country roads...

Cool shots. I love riding in the fog. Changes perceptions and the way sound travels. Next time you're up here for a slacker ride, I'll bring out my new SS and see if I can keep up with you.
