    Fashion Question: Socks...

I was wondering what the general view was on wild looking knee socks or warmers? I have a couple sets of tiger stripes in yellow, orange and blue. Sometimes it feels like wild other times it just feels like adding color(all with the riding/racing context.

go for it! I love crazy socks, I got a whole bunch of good ones at Target for cyclocross season last fall! My "lucky" socks are blue and black striped with lime green lightning bolts!

I usually have boring wool socks, but crazy socks always make me smile. I do have a pair of fish socks that are fun to wear in the rain, and some snowman socks that occasionally show with knickers.

I have some crazy socks too. And then I have normal ones too. Sometimes I feel like looking crazy and sometimes I don't.

I even have some "cats in space" leggings for when I feel like looking really crazy.

Cats in space sounds cute Part of me thinks crazy loud is good for visibility riding around town too. Recently I found a volleyball store that has aisles of loud athletic knee highs and calf warmers. It's so hard to decide sometimes, esp when hubby laughs at the prints

    Fashion Question: Socks...

Somewhat related..... What to do with my old favorites that are loosing all the stretch and body? These are things like the sock guy cloaca sic, "your bike sucks" sock, my beloved "ride like a girl" socks, and a few others. Somehow tossing them just feels wrong...

I would say sew a quilt, maybe a small one??- no lie, I have all my old concert/sports/college t-shirts packed away waiting to be sewn into a quilt, socks can be thrown into the mix

Cut the feet off and use them for wrist warmers? That's what I do with my old wool socks, not sure if it's worth it for the lighter weight ones.

The quilt idea is neat, too

I say do it, and the wilder, the better.
