You guys won't believe these deals!!

I just got an email from BlueSkyCycling.com advertising their new sale on the 2007 Easton components. All of them are, get this, 1-2% off MSRP!!!!!! Can you believe that!

I don't see how they can afford these price cuts. I mean, sometimes you can find stuff that's 0.25% or even 0.5% off retail, but these guys are really taking some chances.

I went to the website. They're even selling an EA30 aluminum riser bar for $28.98. Regularly its $30, that's a whole 3% off!!

Here's the link. http://www.blueskycycling.com/cat-EMAIL-SPECIAL-2.htm

New question here. How do they do it?

VOLUME!!!!

All I can say is they must turn a heckuvalotta product to make any profit at these margins.

Well, I don't see how they can keep the lights on when they're practically giving this stuff away. I mean, they must only be getting 100-200% profit on these pieces. It's insane!!

If you did buy any of these parts at these prices, I would, um.........you know, just keep that to yourself.

Hilarious. I have seen sites that have the MSRP, say 120$, and then the price they're selling it for is in bold red with an 'only [$price$]!' phrase where the price is 150$! I get that a lot in catalogs that come with stuff I've mail ordered.
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

my recycle bin used to be full of links to websites like BlueSky (which was, itself, one of those). but if they're offering prices like that, maybe i should link back up with them.

Blueskycycling sucks, as far as I'm concerned, but then Pricepoint has no customer service worth sh!t and JensonUSA has half of their listed items backordered. Time to try Cambria.

I didn't have any problems out of pricepoint when I got my hydration pack there. Came a week later by UPS who taped it to my mailbox in a garbage bag. You definitely need insurance lol

i've ordered from bluesky before and never had any problems with them. they dont have great deals on everythink but they do usually have some great deals. how bout this, ritchey carbon 31.8 riser bar http://www.blueskycycling.com/produc...r-Bar-31.8.htm, you wont find it anywhere else cheaper than that. that 07 easton stuff just came out, nobody is going to have good deals on that stuff for a while.

True, but when I order from a place that has the slogan "Where Price Is The Point" I think my expectation for service is pretty much in the gutter to begin with.

When I order from a place where the slogan is "Where price is the point," I expect some pretty pointed prices. So far they seem pretty pointless to me. I have to agree that Cambria is much better with prices plus has excellent service, and that is why I've never dealt with Pricepoint.
