+1. They are hard to find at a good price. Snagged a pair on eBay earlier this year for $50. The seller had three pair on offer. I still kick myself for not grabbing all three. I like 'em a lot, but won't pay $100 for them.

Ha, were they white? I think I got them from the same dude too. Match the Kona Stinky quite nicely.

+1111 I have these on the TransAM and look almost the same. Nice and thin profile ftw. Colors better too lol.

cool, I'll keep an eye out for a sale then. On the performance website they are only available in grey- would love to get some in white. I'll have to check some stores out, too.

the 5050x's are 40 on jenson and the blackspire are 70 on chainreaction which are both decent deals. Not sure if they come in white, the 5050's might have a white kit that you could buy if you're really adamant about getting white ones.

They are crap though. Mine came out of the box with loose screws. And there is nothing to tighten the screws against either. They "look" nice, but the quality is pretty sad.

You could buy the original HT Nano pedal for about a third the price.

All these pedals (WahWah, FTLTY, Superstar, Nuke Proof, Fire Eye, Deity and many more) are jsut variations on the HT components Nano pedal. I have a few sets and can't help but smirk whenever I see a set on 'sale' for 70 when they cost me 25 a set.

Same here. I've been using the HT pedals with great success. I've beat the snot out of them on the rocks here in Arizona and my current set has been on for over a year and they still work perfectly, albeit missing a few pins and scarred up pretty bad.

Any idea where I can find HT pedals for sale?

The only ones I could find are the nylon ones on ebay:

Dang $125 is too rich for my blood, even with Ti axles (my bike doesn't need to lose weight... I need to lose weight)

...It looks like the cheapest place to get HT pedals is at Performance...

Has anyone tried the VP-59 pedals?

I heard the VP-59 pedals are a solid pedal , but i have no experience with them personally.Vp-001 pedals can't take a lot if any abuse.>>> Just found a good deal at Tree fort $53.XX for the Vp-59 all colours.

For $73 these are a close second to Twenty6 Prerunners.... I weigh a ton and have had them on my DH bike. The platform is large and flat. LOVE THEM !!!

I went through something similar last year while building up a Dawg.

Wanted Wah-Wahs, didn't want to pay full price for Wah-Wahs, couldn't find great deals on Wah-Wahs, etc...

After doing a metric crap-load of research and price comparisons I decided that 'good enough' was 'good enough' since it looks like a few companies actually make pedals while a bunch of companies slap their names on said pedal designs for more $$$.

Ended up with some Wellgo platforms (B103) which are similar in dimension/function (especially thickness), cheaper, and have worked out well.

    Wellgo website

I'm also in Arizona and platforms tend to take a beating around here. I'm missing a few pins but my Wellgo have proven to be tough.

I'm not hating on wanting to color match, wanting something made to X standard by tiny elves in a mountain somewhere...just sayin...

Well I nabbed some brand new off eBay for $73 delivered.

Not a screaming deal, but still a good price methinks.

There's another pair on there right now:

    Wellgo MG-1 on Ebay

These are a great pedal and light for their size. In white too... You can also get them with the titanium spindle to make them extremely light.

none of the LBS around here stock them, not even the Kona dealers. I love to support the 2-3 LBS around here that I frequent, and buy items that they have in stock.

For items they don't carry, I find them online. If the LBS has to order it, chances are I can get it faster and cheaper by buying online somewhere myself.

Check out this Ebay store. He usually has HT AN01 pedals for around $50 shipped. They are the exact same as Kona Wah Wah, Deity Decoy, etc but without the logo and price tag.

I was using Forte Coverts until I bought the HTs- now the Coverts sit in a box. The HT pedals are really, really good.

Maybe, but not necessarily always the case. My favorite local shop puts in orders on Tuesday and has my parts to me on Thursday with no shipping charges
