Who has the best price on Specialized bikes?

    I'm looking for 2.

    A Hotrock for my son.

Possibly a P1 AM Disc for me.

Where can I find the best deal?

Spec also does not allow "discounting" or internet sales. So, the price at LBS here will be the same as LBS there.

You can find some discounted closeouts around model yr end. But, your selection is limited.

Also, dont limit yourself to Specialized just because everyone else has one. There are many other good bike mfg around that are as good (some may say better) like Cannondale, Scott, Trek and others.

    call around.

If you want the best deal then call all the specialized dealers that are within the distance you are willing to drive. Explain where you are calling from and let them know what you are buying. You may want to name a price and see if they can sell it for that price, if they say they can't sell for your asking price then ask for there best price. When you find the lowest price go back to your local dealer and explain the situation. If they come reasonably close buy it from the local shop.

My experience is most have a price that is often just below the retail and won't budge. If you are lucky you will find one that will be willing to give you a better deal.

If you are wiling to get last years model then there is often more room for discounts. If you want a 2009, then wait a month or so and the 2010 models will be out and you will likely be able to get a better deal.

    Good luck.
    TEX
