Thomson Dropper in stock at Universal

Universal now has both 30.9 and 31.6 Thomson droppers in stock. They only have 9 30.9 in stock though. The important part is that you can take 15% off the price, which brings it down to $382 with free shipping.

Thomson Dropper in stock at Universal

I'm sure the Thomson is awesome, all of their stuff is, but I'm not sure what makes it so much more expensive than the LEV or Reverb. Those can be had at or under $300.

    Anyone been on all 3?

Those went fast. There was one 30.9 left just now, so I put it in my cart, and tried to check out as fast as I could, but before I could finish checking out their inventory went to zero.

I've got one on backorder (since March) at another retailer but who knows when these things will have reasonable stock anywhere . . .

Thomson Dropper 30.9 in stock at Backcountry.com

Found some inventory at Backcountry today. They were showing 21 in stock for 30.9 when I found them, and it reduced to 20 after I bought one, so it seems to be accurate.

They have no 31.6 (although Universal still does).

$415 and free shipping, but no discount codes I'm aware of.

you guys are mighty confident about an adjustable post made by a company who has no experience with mechanical equipment. More so hydraulics and pneumatics. Good on youse! Let us know how it goes.

I'm putting my faith in them, not because they make great rigid posts, but because they are a "real" engineering company. The QA and reliability requirements they face for contract work in aviation, etc are a higher bar in comparison to many bike component companies. Its not like they are making the hydraulic portion; but they have the engineering staff capable of properly outsourcing that.
A solid 2 year warranty doesn't hurt either.

I just ordered a 30.9 from ArtsCyclery. Free 2 day shipping too. $289 (not 270 but not bad)
