    Supergo never again...

I order by phone from supergo a helmet yesterday afternoon. I call local supergo store today and they have said helmet in stock. So i call Supergo to cancel my order. However i call to cancel my phone order 12 hours later at the beginning of business hours I am told that i cant cancel my order by Customer Service.

I look at Supergo website and read this:

    Changing or Canceling Your Order

"If you wish to retract or revise a web order that has been processed, get on the phone with our Customer Service department as quickly as possible (please have your Web Order Number in hand) and let us know. Please know that web orders are typically processed immediately so it is VERY likely your order has already been processed. Do not use email to contact us about cancellations"

I call back to Supergo and ask to speak with a Supervisor who can explain to me the descrepency between what im told and what the Supergo web site sez. I am told that a Supervisor wont be able to cancel my order. Then the Customer Service rep tells me the only thing i can do is to refuse the package once UPS attempts delivery...

    This is focking buIIshIt....

You know, I have a feeling that if you didn't buy our helemt locally, you would come on here saying how bada$$ and super quick Supergo is. Looks like they know what they are talking about. refuse the UPS package, or just take back the locally purchased one.

Let me get this straight . . .
So after you made the purchase, supergo did their part by quickly delivering the product and then you get pissed off because they can't cancel it when it's the in the shippers posession?

    um, ok

Your rant hurts the validity of other, well deserved rants.

This is a bogus slam. What would you suggest...that they hold all orders for 24 hours in case the buyer decides he wants to cancel?

REI did the same thing to me and it first it bugged me, then I blamed myself for not checking first. I'd rather they ship the dang thing ASAP than hold it expecting me to screw up.

That once the order is processed you can NOT cancel it. But No were do they mention on their site. Why? because claiming this would deter people from ordering. ********ty to me..

Thye didnt "deliver" shLt..i dont have the item...nor did i ever say that i did.

Bingo... they probably receive hundreds and hundreds of orders per day. Once it's packed and in the shipping pile, it's past the point of no return... one of the drawbacks of getting it to you ASAP. It's more efficient to ship-n-return than to locate your package. If you had ordered from a smaller vendor, with say a dozen orders that day, it would much more feasible for them to pull the package.

    This does say it all...

"Please know that web orders are typically processed immediately so it is VERY likely your order has already been processed."

In the end, it's your fault for changing your mind. Been there, done that.

Yea - but it very likely goes through the same order fulfillment process.

    uh, caveat emptor, y'all....

    "LET THE BUYER BEWARE"

Meaning you do your homework BEFORE you plunk down your credit card digits.

Sounds like you basically had buyers remorse, which is understandable, but to flame the merchant is misguided.

Or, as they say in retail: No refunds for being a dumbass.

Stop whining. You should of called the local shop first. Once you get your item just return it or just refuse the UPS delivery.
