I think only 100 grams less than the Chargers. A lot of weighting is in the hubs.

My Chargers were 2050, but I think that's on the lighter end of sets out there. Figure 2000-2150 for the set of either.

They cook their sales so that's always the price.

Exactly. They shift the percentages around, offer free shipping (except you still get the oversize charge), etc. This deal is actually about the worst. Usually the 20+% deals come out to about $222 for me.

I get $227.48 (no free shipping on wheelsets), plus they'll add on tax for me in IL or if you live in any of these states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN,MD, MI, NC, NM, OH, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV

In case anyone looks this up later....mine came in at 2229 which is close to the 2212 nashbar advertises.

That's about 300 grams less than my 18mm at805 rims. The surprising thing is that the skewers are about half the weight of the stock skewers which brings the total down to about 400ish grams less.

So for 200 bucks to get wider, stiffer, true tubeless wheels plus the valves, all the hub adapters, and 4oz of stans that are just under a lb less than my stock I can't complain about the specs. I can't wait to get them on there and see how they ride.

I got the Comps from Nashbar, hit it just right when they offered free shipping for three days, which saved $50. Great deal. Been on many rides with them. Holding up great, still true, love the cartridge bearings. One problem I've had is them coming loose. This has happened on the front and rear more than once. I've tried tightening the skewers real tight and also not real tight as sometimes over tightening can cause them not to close properly. Didn't make a difference. On my last ride the front came loose on the fork blades. Lever was all the way closed, so somehow it must have backed off a bit. They are pretty light weight skewers and seem cheap to me. I swapped them out for the Shimano SLX skewers off my old mountain bike, which are not top of the line, but are much more stout and have a different mechanism. I'm confident I won't have the problem any more, time will tell. Anyone else experience this problem?

I put some grease on the end of the skewer and it seems to have eliminated the problem (knock wood)

Yes, from my experience the skewers that come with Stan's and Sun wheelsets are terrible.

Sometimes performance bikes carry them. Keep checking Nash bar though. They'll probably come back

A while ago Crosslake had the Black Flag Expert for $197 shipped. Not 29er though.
