Sugoi RS Spandex Shorts - Small $26.72; XL $18.46 ($120 MSRP)

Sugoi RS Spandex Shorts, on sale in size Small for $18.72 + $8 SH and in X-Large for $10.46 + $8 SH ($120 MSRP). Small is now sold out (that was fast).

    Amazon.com: Sugoi RS Short: Clothing

Some might think they're roadie shorts, but I imagine quite a few people wear them under their usual mtb shorts.

I'm not seeing them at that price. It says "Sale: $10.46 - $18.72 on select options" but no matter what size I choose they show up as $103 or $130

I just bought a pair of their Evolution shorts on Bonktown though.

Like V shows you have to choose X-Lge for the $10 option to show up...and as far as the $10.46 ones I bet you it's a decimal point off by one.

Would you use the same logic to explain the 18.72 short's price, which is sold by the same vendor? How about relating it to the vendor's 95% approval rating over 8000+ ratings given*? If it is a price mistake, would they cancel it and possibly take a negative rating?

    * Note that maybe 1-5% of buyers bother to rate unless they were surprised somehow. In this case, it seems a great number were pleasantly surprised or they have a great volume of sales.

I'm skeptical as well, but Amazon has a guarantee regarding other vendors selling on Amazon. If I get the short as described, I'm likely taking time to give them a positive rating due to my skepticism being unfounded.

Thanks for posting this! I'm skeptical, too, but I ordered them hoping it will work! If it does, it's an unreal deal! (If it doesn't work, well, I suppose it's going to be a hassle. Hopefully Amazon will stand behind the purchase, or at least the refund will be easy.)

I've worked in the online industry. Decimal point errors happen more frequently than you think. The difference is how the store handles it. That may account for the higher approval rating.

sweet deal! I hope the XL fits me ok. I have a 38 waist so it should work. Now I'm kicking myself for not ordering a few more.

These are for men right? I got the XL and I have a 36 waist. If these do come through...It will be a real slick deal considering the MSRP.

My order was just cancelled via this email:

    Good Morning,

This is Heather with shopperschoice. We have received your order for the cycling shorts. Unfortunately, we do not carry cycling shorts. It seems Amazon has sent these order to the wrong company.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I will cancel your order and refund your payment back to your Amazon account.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Sincerely,

    Heather

I got the same email! Odd that it was down then back up, but we all knew it was too good to be true! Still, it was worth a try! And thanks to the OP - you never know, it might have worked!
