I bought mine at 4am Sunday morning. I called Performance to buy them over the phone to be sure. He said these won't sell out over the weekend. Whatever!
    Now it's a 2-week wait.

    False Alarm.
Performance just called me and said they have no levers. Their website lied to me.

    When did you order yours?
I ordered mine at 4am on Father's Day, then they screwed me and a bunch of others.

I ordered mine on Sunday morning and I have not received a call from Performance Bicycle indicating that they were out of stock. Waiting on my e-mail indicating that the order has left the warehouse...

8 AM CST. I'll see if I receive notification that they've shipped by today. If not, I'm going to call them and see what the status is on the order. I'll keep you updated.

Jenny at x448 at PerformanceBike 800-727-2453 said to keep my order number.
I asked for some restitution to this issue.
She said I can use my order# later and get a discount on something.

I ordered Saturday night and received a shipping confirmation on Monday. I had a feeling these would disappear.

Ordered at 7 pm Saturday. Still no shipping confirmation.

UPDATE: Called and they said it is scheduled to be delivered this week. Looks like their online system didn't pull the plug as quickly as they wanted on this one.

    This day and age ??

I am pretty certain their system has some kind of alarm when there is a 200, 300, or 400% increase on orders for an item. They double check it, if there is an error, cancel orders.

Sadly, once it is posted here on MTBR, it is inevitable that the item will be flagged. Especially when you have buyers looking to "flip" the item instead of using it.

I have learned, if I find a cool deal, order it, and once I have it in my hands, then post info on it. Otherwise, if you are lucky, only the first handful of orders, if that, go through.
You cannot go against nature, because when you do, its part of nature too.

I called them today to check on my order and I was told that it hasn't shipped yet, but that the items I ordered were ready. I selected in-store pickup BTW.

Hopefully they arrive...thanks to the original poster. Not going to be the end of the world if they don't arrive though...my wife's Felt Q520 could use them and the BB7s.

I've been checking on their website and the status of my order hasn't changed. I too selected the in store pick up. Hope you guys get your levers... Myself included.

Restitution? Why do you think you are owed restitution when you tried to take advantage of an obvious pricing error? Cost on those levers is $160. Why would PB sell them for $60?

Regardless of how obvious the mistake is or not, why does anyone deserve restitution for losing nothing more than the potential to buy something?

With Ship-to-store, you usually don't get a shipping confirmation till the order arrives at your local shop. That's been my experience.

I ordered the brake levers with ship-to-store pickup and my order went through but no "shipped" notification. Probably on it's way!

Not sure what I will do with the brake levers.

Did anyone even confirm that this was a pricing error on Performance's part? I doubt $240(+/-) mech levers are a hot item with any retailer. I figured they priced them accordingly just to move their existing stock. True, I could have bought the entire stock of them and NOT posted the link here, but that's pretty dick. I honestly hope most of you get your orders.

Pricing BS aside, does anyone have any personal experience with these levers? I currently have Avid Speed dials and I'm wondering if I'll feel any noticeable changes with the Ultimates. I also read somewhere that the Speed Dial Ultimates have titanium hardware. Is this true?

I had a set but made the mistake of selling them. They're very nice - you'll most likely be able to feel some difference.

If they wanted to sell existing stock don't you think they would have had then in stock before selling them for 60% off of dealer cost? $60 is probably close to what it costs to make them with ti hardware and all the machining and anodizing.
