Great price on great lube. Squirt has become my go-to lube for anything short of rain/mud. Its the only lube I've found that can last 100 miles in Bend, OR dust without needing re-application. I had some bad experiences in the past with wax based lubes but Squirt is different. White Lightning, for example, would accumulate and gunk up the drivetrain so badly that I threw away what was left of the bottle. Squirt goes on much easier (very thin and watery on application) and exhibits only slight accumulation over time. Love it.

Same here. Love this stuff. Finally made the switch and discovery of it this season after constant dirty and gritty drivetrains of the past.

They did this with my last order - kept extending the end date of the sale. I bought mine after the end date but the order went through and was shipped today. It's great stuff - I bought 4 bottles, I'll never be able to beat the price!

I just bought 4 bottles with price match at Tree Fort to get cheaper shipping. Total was $9.91!

    Counterfeit?

Saw this article today and wondered if the Blue Sky stuff was counterfeit given the price last summer . . .

Squirt lube founder suing Utah distributor, alleging counterfeiting | Bicycle Retailer and Industry News

My bottles from the sale look different than either of the photo examples in the article.

Anyone notice poor function of the Bluesky lube? As far as I can tell mine is working like it always has.

All the bottles I've bought last year from Bluesky look exactly like this below, I have three with the green biodegradeable disclaimer on top and 3 with just Bikinventions in that place and judging by that review from 2011 in the link, I'm just guessing super old stock perhaps from Bluesky?

Just to follow up, I sent an email with my pics to Squirt's current U.S. distributor and the response I got back:

Bart, Ya you have old stock. No worries, it holds up very well and will still get the job done!
In some cases we have seen the lube thicken slightly due to water loss without loss of effectiveness.
You can restore viscosity if needed by adding small amounts of water.
It's what I figured all along.

My three bottles look like the one you are holding in your hand. Got them from an ebay seller.

Besides the blue cap is there another way to determine if it is genuine or not?

Now I'm confused. Which one is the old stock? The one with the green biodegradable label?

I think the old stock has the red bikeinventions on it.

I have several bottles from BlueSky all with blue caps. While shifting is great, it does build up crud instead of shedding them like the reviews on here.

I've been using it for years, it does build up like any dry lube, but it's far better than wax based lubes. I've have those cause my chain to skip from the buildup in between cassette cogs. I've found it lasts longer than other dry lubes and seems slippery enough. Velonews came up with impressive numbers on it.
