    Scam? most likely

    http://www.georgesbicycle.com/

Can't find any info to back up his square trade and platinum powerseller claims. Anyone know anything about this place?

edit: the search function didn't find the previous thread about this place, and I was to lazy to look myself

    Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Scam!

Without a doubt...it's a scam. As stated above the image of the two bikers was stolen straight from Performance's website. The person didn't even bother changing the image name (bikers1.gif). Their "Customer Feedback" page contains word for word comments from Ibex Bicycles website.

its a scam big time ive been screwin around with him, all the clues matchup with a scam

    free shipping worldwide???

he wants to use escrow only

he has several stores with different names, but the same pictures, same testimonials, same bikes, same credentials, and same adress

when i asked him for a discount he imediatley sliced of 200 dollars from the already ridiculously low price on the giant faith (2000 dollars)

if you go to that adress all you will find is an apartment building

it is overly attractive almost as if he is a desperate shop

none of the manufacturers of those bikes list him as a licensed seller

i think there should be a sticky made about this scam because i see alot of threads about it
why don't you save me some trouble and kick your own ass?

If you read the link on e-bay you'll find a Bulgarian scam artist being very successful. Three people posted they had been scammed for 1-2k each.

I would avoid any e-bay stores with " Bicycles" format. Ben's, Vince's, Tod's. All the same rich Bulgarian.

The really dumb thing is that people actually fall for the "escrow-shipping company" con, and actually wire money to this guy.
