    PricePoint FREE shipping!

Got an e-mail from PP for free shipping. Subscribers only, but don't know if others can get it. Looks like there is no minimum!

    Offer is good until 10/30/09.

edit to add: Nashbar also is offering free shipping on orders $50 or more, code: 93887, good until 10/22/09.

I made a relatively small order today from PP (totaling $28.15) via the subscriber's email they sent me. No shipping charges were incurred and no minimum order mentioned anywhere I could see. A great deal when there is free shipping w/no minimum.

I've signed up to be on PP's email list in the past. How come I never get these? Does anyone have a link they can post?

I've sought clarification from PricePoint about this, as UPS/FedEx automatically includes up to $100 of coverage in their basic shipping fee.

PricePoint said to just get in touch with them after you place the order - or, while you are ordering if you are phoning them - and they will remove that "insurance" surcharge.

They both seem to work and thanks for looking into the insurance charge.

I didn't know UPS/FedEx automatically includes $100 of coverage. I've ordered many times that was less than $100. So PricePoint knows this and still charges insurance. Very shady. I try to order everything through PricePoint and Jenson but PricePoint just lost a lot of respect as an online retailer from me. BTW, isn't that illegal?

Yes very shady indeed. I say go through your emails and look for every order you placed below $100 and request to have them refund you insurance money.

I can confirm that they will remove the "insurance" charge if you call them and ask (for orders under $100).

If you order online. Just put **PLEASE REMOVE INSURANCE*** in the Optional Order Comments and they will remove the Insurance Fee.

SIDI shoes + ATAC pedal combo and some cold weather gear.

Just swapped out my old platforms and set up the shoes. Everything went pretty smoothly. Can't wait to ride Towsley Cyn. this saturday. I've never ridden clipless, so it should be an uuuuuh, experience

Had my eye on the '09 RP23, but decided to control myself. Maybe I'll pick it up when it goes on sale.
