    Hey sneakyt,
I can see the sense in snatching up a good deal on last year's stuff but I'd think twice on this one. The tweaks they made are getting rave reviews and the price is pretty dang close so I'd jump on the new version. Universal cycles has the new XTs for $146. Throw on a coupon code (vip10 = ten percent off) and you're down to like $130 a piece with free shipping. They also have th new SLX brakes, which could be a budget option with the same upgrades at around $100 each. Sure, you'll have to reuse some old rotors or get new ones but it's worth looking at IMO.

Thank you guys for your inputs.

I apologize, but I have no idea what anomaly and old and slower meant in their posts.

I have seen PricePoint and BlueCycle's prices but was hoping for something lower. Thanks SaddleRags for the recommendation on Universal Cycles. If I go with them, I'll probably buy something else to be able to use the vip15 code.

You probably got your brakes already but CRC has them for $100. They even lists I.S. mount models

Thanks for the CRC link Ratt. But the ones I want cost more. I guess I can buy the $100 ones and swamp the levers.

why not just buy the new ones from performance for $130 a wheel minus whatever 10-15% off they have running at the moment?
The mountains are calling and I must go
