    Man... I just bought the Sram PG-980 cassette in-store today. They price matched Jenson's $41 price (down from in-store $66), but still. The XT cassettes are lighter...
    Now with eggs.

    That's a good question. The reviews seem positive but I have no personal experience with them. I'll let you know soon though since I picked up 4 of them for ~$29

    (2 will go on my wife's SS)

    I like the 29er version a lot as a rear tire. Never tried it up front, but it certainly isn't an an agressively grippy tread design. If a Small Block 8 works up front for your trails then this may work too. Big plus for me is that it flies on pavement and the rubber wears very slowly. My Nano has about a year of riding on it including 2 miles on pavement each way to the trails.

    The downside for this deal is that it appears to be another Performance "exclusive" version with a wire bead and different rubber compound and so weighs 100g more than the normal version
