Many go for the Kurt Kinetic. After reading dcrainmaker.com I went for a Performance Bike model on sale a few weeks ago....which is now discontinued: Travel Trac Fluid Trainer Review | Road Bike News, Reviews, and Photos

    I paid about $109.

1upusa trainer. Not cheap but one of the best. I've had mine for 6 years now and still works as well as the day I got it.

Watch CL for a cycleops fluid trainer and while good deals seem disappear the same day they do pop up. I picked one up this summer for $100 and it is miles better than the Blackburn magnetic trainer it replaced. If you need one fast amazon is selling this unit for $279.
