MARZOCCHI MX COMP '04 $179: Good Deal?

Any thoughts on this fork or the price. I was thinking about picking one up.

    Bought one in June

I bought the 105mm version with ETA. Really like it so far. I saw they only have the 85mm version. I don't know what type of riding you do, but I don't think I would go less than 100mm on a new fork. It is just a great all-around amount of travel that really makes the ride a lot more enjoyable, in my opinion. I had an 80mm fork prior and the difference in how you approach the trail is a lot more than the extra inch of travel would have you believe. Spend the extra $20-30 bucks and get the longer version.

    Busted!

I am going to have to change my ID! Sounds like I missed out, especially with the afternoon monsoon. Maybe Big Creek in the morning?

I've been on one for almost a year. Its a good fork for the money but its damn heavy and has an annoying rattle caused by the coil spring and bushing arrangement. I am gonna try a manitou skareb or black. Nothing like dropping a pound off the front wheel. The zoke is damn reliable and easy to rebuild change the oil on it.
