I'm looking for a good XC frame under $600 - Any Suggestions?

    So far, I found:
    - Azonic Propulsion
    - Ellsworth Joker Xc
    - KHS xc704
    - Mountain Cycle Slix

Any other deals out there I should consider?

I think it was Bob's Bicycles out of Boise. There was an ad in a mag for $599 with free shipping, and then an ebay listing with a $35 s/h charge. I think they have one or two left. I know aardvark cycles had them but they wanted 899 or something crazy.

As for the other post about the I-Drive... you do not want to deal with that maintenance nightmare a year down the road.

I would really strongly urge you to look at eBay. It is really a buyer's market. Things are going for WAY lower than they ever have in the past. I have purchased an Intense Tracer for $700 that looked like it was brand new. The only reason you could tell was from the marks of the headset and BB. When that was destroyed by a car I purchased a Ventana SAltamontes for $800. Anyway, the point is that those are really high end frames. If you look at mid range bikes you could easily get under $500. For example, Specialized full suspension which are excellent XC rigs and are a dime a dozen. There's such a glut of them out there that I'm sure you could pick one up for under $500. Anyway, I say pick out your dream bike then wait for someone to sell one on eBay who purchased it, took the huge hit in depreciation then realized they didn't want it........power to the second hand buyers!
