We the people ... Looking for a DEAL - AM Frameset

    Hi:
I'm looking to build myself a good bike, so I'm looking for a good deal on either of these frames:

    - Turner 5.Spot
    - Pivot Mach 5.7
    - Ventana El Ciclon
    - Santa Cruz Blur LT2
    - Ellsworth Epiphany
    - Intense Tracer 2

I'm 5.9 feet tall (1.80 mts), my previous bikes have been Large (18 or 19) so that's the size I'm looking for, the frame doesn't necessarily have to be new but in excellent condition.
If anyone knows of a good deal please let me know.
    Thank you.

    JensonUSA.com is a good start.

Bikedirect.com too, but I never order from them, so I can't say.

Jenson's good and fast. Low shipping cost too. Then eBay do the rest.

I've noticed 2011 Diamondback mission 3 frames being sold on ebay lately for $450-500 (anodized frames), so watch out for those.

I've heard about carbon frame from china and titanium parts at low price on eBay, like squewer, stem, etc.

I just grabbed a Chinese carbon seatpost off eBay for my Access 29er, and love it!

I'm eyeing up their Chinese carbon 29er frame, as well; but, I may look at building up a full suspension 29er instead... haven't decided yet.

Bought this one direct from the company for $68.00 shipped (arrived in less than a week):

they list the same ones on eBay, but I chose to cut out the middleman and order direct from the link above. Doing so saved me a whole $1 too! lol

The only drawback -- and it really isn't -- is that the titanium bolts required a little bit of Locktite to keep them from jarring loose out on the trail. Other than that, the post has been fantastic!

The same company sells all kinds of Chinese carbon...

Thank you qbert2000, I saw that, sadly they don't have size Large. Honestly my number 1 option is the Blur LT2. But if I get a good deal on one of the others I mentioned I'd take it.

    Hi:
It seems that I'm about to get my hand on a brand new 2012 Blur LT frame; only problem is that it uses the new tapered forks and the one I have destined for this bike is 1 1/8, do you guys know if it can be adapted?.
    Thank you.

tons of headsets will work for that. chris king. multiple models of cane creel]k. no worries. can even run an angleset or offset cups in a tapered headtube with a 1 1/8" steerer. best of both worlds
