    latest purchase from PP

Just some comments about my latest and first purchase from PP,
ordered 5 x PP branded tubes, a Topeak Sport 2 Pump, Raceface Evolve XC Flatbar, SD7 Brake Levers, LS Chainstay Protector, PP Patch Kit.

    comments:
    -tubes are heavy, 204g
-packaging was a C at best, all parts thrown into large box, and used brown packaging paper on top, handlebar (which came originally packaged in a plastic bag) could've been scratched by the Pump's Steel base or any other part of the metal pump)
-The pump i ordered from them because i was going to get it from Treefort for $27.95 (free shipping) but PP said they'd match the price. What PP did which was a pretty dick move imo was raise my shipping charges from $8 to $12. I got no notification of this until i checked my CC Bill. They didn't send me any updated email with the updated order (after pump's price match from $31-> $27.)

    overall i'd give them a B .

What was your total charge for your order?

Did you mean first and "last" purchase? You type "latest," which indicates you'll be making further purchases. You bought from a bargain basement e-tailer and expected all of your precious parts to be hand-wrapped?

Since you seem to be big on letter grades, I'd give this thread a D. Thank god your mountain bike handlebars didn't get scratched ...

If you are worried about the weight of your tubes, you should have ordered their "light" tubes. I wouldn't expect super cheap tubes to weigh much less than that.

The PP tube light tube is 154g which is 25% lighter than the regular ones and are pretty cheap.

If anything came damaged on your shipping box PP would have easily exchanged it for you. They have resolved the very few issued I've had with them so far very well.

PP is cheap and I use them, but some of the stuff is OEM and you might get last year's model (they advertise as such, though)

Never said they were bad or that I wouldn't buy from them ever again. You're the one that's fail. I gave them a B for poor packaging and for changing the price of my order and charging my cc without telling me first.
