    Home Depot gloves.

Well, this is not for me, but if some are on tight budget, Home Depot has sweet bike style gloves for about $10. My buddy showed up for a ride thur with 2 pair. I even tried them on, and they should be great! They look like bike gloves.

    Home Depot gloves.

Good tip. I've got a buddy that wears those Mechanix gloves when he rides. Seem to work well

I do a lot of trail work and blow through gloves. I use the Home depot gloves all the time. They have a "Heavy duty" version that is around $20 and they are worth the extra ten IMO. I've got three pairs so if one or two is still wet and swampy I have backups. They tend to be a bit loose, compared to a bike glove, but they generally hold up better.

I like using batting gloves. You can get em for the same price. Most are built with a non-slip material across the palm and fingers. Lightweight and breath well. Hold up well to sweat and liquid. And you can spend a little more and find pairs with foam padding on the backside of the hand and fingers. Not quit the plastic of some mechanix or motorcycle gloves, but good enough for most small whacks to the hand during a ride.
