I just ordered myself a set and now saw this post - I'll report back if there's anything amiss, otherwise I'm stoked to have found an awesome price for some solid brakes.

Got mine yesterday - seems like they have much better modulation than my 9's. Everything is looking good so far - the radial design is a bit weird at first. Mine did not come with adapters, is that what everyone else is getting? I don't mind because I had 8" rotors and adapters anyways, but just curious.

Gotta get these things bedded in to see how much power they have. I'm not having pad rubbing issues like a lot of people on the forums have been having.

Will the front work on a post mount fork with no adapters if i order a 160 mm? My stock fork is not post mount but the white bros fork im ordering is. I wanna get all the right stuff the first time so i don't have to let new parts sit around waiting for an adapter. But i dont wanna spend any dough ordering it if i don't need it.

Also, do they come with sintered or semi metallic pads?

They should, that was the setup that came on my Spot - Stroker trails post mounted to a Manitou Minute.

    I believe they are semi-metallic.

They came on my 09 Giant Trance X2. I have two months on them and they are great. They take a few hard rides to break in to full power but they are great after that. Mine are silent unless they get wet but all discs get loud when wet.

Wow, awesome deal. I was wondering how long are the hoses from Hayes? If you have to cut them and then bleed them, wonder how much that will add to the price.

Had to ask Hayes for a longer rear hose to fit my XL flux. They sent one free and the brakes are solid Much better than my El Caminos but they are El Crapo.
